Dr. Rosie Milligan brings the largest Black cultural event for Southern California—Black Writers On Tour + Business + Tech Expo—Showcasing authors, business owners and embracing technology—it’s a Face-to face event. You will learn “THE NEW WAY OF DOING BUSINESS POST COVID-19”. This powerful, one-day event will be on Saturday, March 25, 2023, from 10:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. Meet our author panelist discussing their writing journey from across the country. My Tech Academy and PACE NEWS are partnering with BWOT. The theme for 2023 is “Literacy is Everybody’s Business—Literacy + Entrepreneurship + Technology Changes Lives.”
The is a global conference. You will hear the renowned Dr. Claud Anderson Award-Winning Interview—this you don’t want to miss. FREE admission, free seminars for the public, writers/aspiring writers and entrepreneurs. Parking is FREE.. Participants will learn how we intertwine tech and literacy in the 21st century. Youth and adults will learn about opportunities in the technology sector. The COVID-19 pandemic heightened our awareness of how far behind African Americans are in technology.
There will be authors and business owners displaying their products and services. Writers and business owners will learn how technology can enhance their literary works and business. COVID-19 brought about a shift in cultural consciousness—African Americans are seeking to do business with Black-owned businesses. Writers and business owners must seize the moment.
Black Writers On Tour + Business + Tech Expo connect writers with readers and businesses with consumers. There will be workshops and seminars for writers/aspiring writers, business owners, aspiring entrepreneurs throughout the day.
